Connecticut Open House Day is in its 22nd year and is always held on the second Saturday in June to showcase a number of cultural, historical and recreational activities throughout the state. “We are lucky here in Mansfield to have such a great variety of places to enjoy, and Open House Day is a perfect opportunity to get out and explore,” said Steven Ferrigno, executive director of the Mansfield Downtown Partnership.

In Mansfield, several organizations are opening their doors, including the Atwood Farm Museum, the Ballard Institute & Museum of Puppetry, Fenton River Studio, the Gurleyville Gristmill, the J.
